MINDFULNESS FOR WELL-BEING
No mud, no lotus

Mindfulness backed by science
Evidence-based practices for cultivating well-being
Welcome to Mindfulness for Well-being
In our fast-paced and stressed world, we face a barrage of crises, disasters and anxieties. No wonder we feel stressed and exhausted at times. Everyone does! It is more important than ever, that we nourish ways of being that restore and promote mental health and genuine well-being.
The way we live our lives profoundly impacts on our bodies, mind and spirit. Mindfulness practices have been shared and taught since ancient times to open up states of calm, peace and compassion. With many decades of research now, scientists can see and understand the physiological benefits of these practices and how they reshape the mind, body and nervous system.
We offer mindfulness courses to learn practices informed by the latest science about biological states of stress and calm. Our courses are experiential and designed for everyone, whether or not you have previous experience with mindfulness or meditation. They are suitable for people of all ages, abilities and capacities. We often work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, major health conditions, mental health issues, burn-out, post-traumatic stress and neurodivergence.
In our courses, you will be learning mindfulness principles and practices to develop your inner resources to reduce stress and promote balance, ease and well-being. We only teach practices scientifically shown to reduce stress and promote genuine physical and mental well-being. Our core foundational practices include:
-
Mindfulness meditation
-
Gentle movement (eg: yoga, qigong)
-
Self-compassion
-
Conscious breathing
-
Connecting with nature
-
Creative expression (eg: dance, music, art)
We teach easy and accessible practices with step-by-step direction, guidance and support. These gentle yet effective practices nurture and restore the capacity of the body, mind and spirit that may be disrupted by the challenges of life, stress and trauma*.
Like all new habits, mindfulness takes regular practice. Joining a course in safe and belonging space with others, is a great way to begin. Whatever seeds we plant and cultivate in our lives, grows.
We look forward to welcoming you on this path of discovery, growth and deep well-being.
*It is important to seek professional help, if you are struggling with mental health concerns. Our courses work well to compliment professional support (eg: case support, counselling or therapy). Our courses are trauma-informed and will empower participants with skill-building and self care in a safe and belonging group.
